The BP Service Station on Taranaki Street in central Wellington is one of the many service stations that ADC has built for BP around the country. In addition to the Service Station, this build also included the adjoining McDonald’s Restaurant.
A crucial part of this project was the construction of underground tanks and pumps, in compliance with the very strict safety and security requirements of stored liquids within a Service Station.
One of the main requirements of building BP Service Stations is meeting the company’s Health and Safety Accreditation requirements. This is something that ADC invests considerable time and effort in, and is proud to achieve.
Special Info / Challenges:
The Taranaki Street BP Service Station site came with the very limited access typical of a central city location, along with a tight 8-week turnaround. This all added to the challenge of completing another successful project.
