Brian Nightingale

Brian is a director of Building & Construction Services Limited providing governance and consultancy services to the building industry and has been a member of the Armstrong Downes Advisory Board since 2016. He currently holds non-executive directorships with several construction related companies in New Zealand. Brian is actively involved with Registered Master Builders, the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors, the New Zealand Institute of Builders and the Institute of Directors. With over 40 years’ experience in the Construction industry, Brian has been involved in numerous high profile projects including the redevelopment of Eden Park for the Rugby World Cup, the refurbishments of the Beehive and Old Government Buildings, the earthquake strengthening of the Rankine Browne and Hunter buildings at Victoria University and the recently completed Burwood Hospital and Outpatients buildings as part of the Christchurch earthquake reconstruction.
