Blessing of The Paddington site

On July 7th , Manawhenua blessed The Paddington site to enable construction to start safely. The karakia (prayers and blessings) and whakaritenga (ceremonies) Manawhenua delivered acknowledge the site to be built on, the purpose of the building, and the benefits to those who will enjoy the building in future. They also acknowledge the role of Manawhenua to protect the spiritual and cultural wellbeing on the site and area. We are very grateful for the support of Manawhenua and the role they play in making sure we have the best start. Nā reira, tēnā koutou katoa e te manawhenua mō tō koutou tiaki, manaaki rānei i a tātau katoa.
